Open Practice from this module. Choose one starter, replace the bracketed words and run the prompt. Complete the learning task below, not just the button click.

Your task: Pick the right technique

Write one direct prompt, then decide whether a role, example, or constraint would improve it.

How to approach this task

Start with a direct task, then add one useful technique. If you use an example, make its pattern consistent with the answer you want.

Starter to adapt

Explain [topic] for [audience] in [format]. Add one example if a pattern would help.

Check your work against these criteria

  • You start with a clear direct task.
  • You choose a technique for a reason.
  • The prompt remains easy to read.

A complete live response and saved-completion message record Practice. Errors, empty responses and local demos do not count. Follow-ups use additional AI actions; check your allowance. The platform's completion check does not prove that every learning criterion was met.

4. Test
