Separate verified information, uncertainty and an unverified claim. A plausible-looking citation may still be invented.
Open this step →3. Practice
Open Practice from this module. Choose one starter, replace the bracketed words and run the prompt. Complete the learning task below, not just the button click.
Your task: Practise the trust check
Write a privacy-safe fact-check prompt using a fictional claim and ask for sources, uncertainty, and a next step.
How to approach this task
Use a fictional claim with no personal details. Ask for supporting evidence, unknowns and the next verification step. Open and check any cited source yourself; do not claim verification when the tool has no source access.
Starter to adapt
Check this claim using reliable sources: [fictional claim]. Separate verified facts from unknowns and tell me what I should check next. Do not invent citations.
Check your work against these criteria
- The claim contains no private information.
- Reliable sources are requested.
- Unknowns and next steps are clearly stated.
A complete live response and saved-completion message record Practice. Errors, empty responses and local demos do not count. Follow-ups use additional AI actions; check your allowance. The platform's completion check does not prove that every learning criterion was met.
Open this step →4. Test
Answer every question and read the feedback. Correct mistakes and submit the required answers until the module records Test as complete. Do not rely only on a congratulatory message.
Questions in the current language: 5
